Join Us!
The SCCA welcomes new individual and family members, member groups, and business members. With an SCCA membership, you receive:
- our newsletter, sent via email
- a vote at SCCA General Meetings
- the right to run for our Board of Directors
- email updates on current issues
- invitations to SCCA events and meetings
In addition, SCCA business and group members will be featured on our website. Memberships are for the calendar year. Memberships purchased after September 30th will be valid from the time of purchase until the end of the following year. If you are not sure about your membership status, please email us at membership@thescca.ca.
Rates:
$20 - Individual
$30 - Family Membership
$40 - Group Membership
$100 - Business Membership
Note: There is one vote per membership, so each individual, family, group or business is entitled to one vote at a general meeting. Memberships are not tax deductible.
Purpose
Our constitution requires that membership in the SCCA is conditional upon a clear acceptance of our purpose:
To preserve the natural biodiversity of the Sunshine Coast Region for the present and future benefit of humanity and all life.
Two Ways to Join
Option 1: Send Membership Form and Payment by Mail
If you do not wish to use PayPal to pay online with a credit card, please do not use the form below. Instead, print out the printable form and send it in with a cheque.
Option 2: Online Membership Form and Payment
To register for membership online and pay with a credit card or PayPal funds, fill out the form below and click the "Register for Membership" button. This will send the form to us and transfer you to a PayPal page where you can pay securely online. You do not have to have a PayPal account to make a credit card payment through them.
PayPal may require that you re-enter some of the same information you entered in our form (such as your name, address, telephone number and email address) for their records. You must complete payment before your membership will be registered.
