The SCCA held All Candidates Meetings on regional environmental issues during the municipal election campaigns of 2002, 2005, and 2008.

The Green Issues Forum was conducted in two parts.

1)  All candidates were invited to answer three questions about climate change, water conservation and the role of regional government in environmental problems. Written responses from 2008 are posted here.

2)  All candidates meetings were held for candidates for the Sunshine Coast Regional District and mayoralty candidates for the District of Sechelt and the Town of Gibsons. There was an opportunity for the public to ask questions about environmental issues.
